I am a software developer, available for hire on a project basis.
I have a MSc in Computer Science from the University of Nantes, France, which I obtained in 2010. My speciality was in Operations Research and logistics.
I have been a fervent user of Open Source and Linux for a very long time, having installed my first Suse distribution at the age of 16. These days I use Gentoo or Debian.
After working for a very large company, Capgemini, and then a very small one, finderly OG, now Shpock, I found my feet working as a freelancer, here in beautiful Vienna, Austria
Contact me - or read on to find out about my process.
Interested in entrusting me with a project?
This is what will happen, and how.
I'll sit down with you and go over the business need, and how best to translate it into software. Although I do not consider myself a designer and prefer to work with an external designer, I can suggest best practices when it comes to UX.
This phase determines the success of the project in terms of setting your expectations and fulfilling them. I will deliver a complete time and cost estimation of the project, broken down into individual tasks. This allows the project to continue with no fear of budget overruns.
If you agree to the estimate, I will build the software, keeping you informed of progress, on a daily or weekly basis, depending on the size of the project and the estimated time to completion.
By this phase of the project, the software will be available in test mode. Any problems that you might find will be corrected, to enable delivery of a robust solution.
After deploying the software into production, I offer a standard maintenance contract, to allow any future problems to be corrected as they arise.
